GREENBUSH, Minn. (September 10, 2020) - The Lucas Oil POWRi Minn-Kota / NLSA Lightning Sprints brought their Greenbush Race Park schedule to a close last weekend. Alex Truscinski in the No. 10 Altoz Mowers Henchcraft, and Dexter Dvergsten in the No. 11 Benitt Construction Bailey, left the weekend as the winners.

Saturday night at Greenbush, Patrick Brejcha in the Chahinkapa Zoo No. 60X and Corey Olson in the Mobile Buzz No. 16 brought the field to the first feature start of the weekend. Olson edged out Brejcha for the lead at the completion of the opening lap, as Alex Truscinski and Kelsi Pederson, driving the No. 93 Northland Sheds Henchcraft, split Jason Berg for third and fourth respectively. Swenson also moved past Berg's No. 100 Biltmore on Main Hyper, to complete the top five.

Olson brought out the first caution of the race at the start of the third circuit. That moved Alan Truscinski into the top five for the restart in the No. 13 Mattracks Henchcraft.

Alex Truscinski took the lead from Brejcha on the restart, and brought Pederson with him into second, with Alan Truscinski completing the podium at the end of lap three.

Dexter Dvergsten moved in on Brejcha and Swenson's Stenmark Farms No. 51, starting a three-way battle for fourth. The trio went three-wide down the backstretch, with Swenson diving to the bottom, completing the slidejob, and taking fourth at the midway point of the 15-lapper.

Dvergsten also moved to Brejcha's inside to move into the top five. A red flag with five laps remaining re-stacked the field for one final restart.

Alan Truscinski was the first to capitalize, moving to Pederson's inside for second, as Dvergsten and Swenson engaged in a dogfight for fourth. After trading sliders, Dvergsten took the spot with three to go.

Dvergsten remained at the top of the track, and powered past Pederson for third with two laps remaining. Alex Truscinski continued on to victory over Alan Truscinski, Dvergsten, Pederson, and Swenson.

On Sunday night, Cody Swenson and Kelsi Pederson shared the front row at the start of the final feature in Greenbush for the 2020 campaign.

Pederson took the lead on the backstretch as Dexter Dvergsten ran third, and closed in on the lead duo. Swenson slid back under Pederson for the lead on the second circuit, with Dvergsten still in hot pursuit in third.

The top three remained the same as Saturday's winner Alex Truscinski moved past Jason Berg for fourth before the first caution of the feature on the fifth lap.

Dvergsten moved past Pederson on the restart, as the field completed another lap before the next caution of the race.

Alan Truscinski moved past both his son Alex, and Berg for fourth as Dvergsten chased down Swenson for the lead. Dvergsten went to the outside of Swenson to claim the top spot at the completion of the sixth lap.

The field ran the second half of the race caution free as Alan Truscinski moved in on Pederson for third, but couldn't improve his position.

Dversten continued on to victory over Swenson, Pederson, and the Truscinski's.

The Lightning Sprint season comes to a conclusion next week at River Cities Speedway on Friday September 18th, and at Devils Lake Speedway on September 19th.
